Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated – Pi Pi Zeta Chapter of Henderson, NV and PPZ Foundation (501c3), proudly presents The Sapphire Standard: Voices of Finer Excellence, an evening designed to uplift leadership, amplify community voices, and celebrate the power of purpose-driven service. Hosted at the prestigious Smith Center – Troesh Theater, this signature event will feature an engaging leadership panel, a Sapphire Soirée, and special recognitions honoring individuals who embody excellence throughout Southern Nevada.
Celebration:
The Finer Womanhood celebration is a hallmark which began in 1923. Unique to Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Finer Womanhood is celebrated around the globe encouraging rededication to our founding principles of Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood, and Finer Womanhood which celebrate excellence in academics and professional achievements that is unique to our sisterhood, Finer Womanhood celebrates the standards, morals, customs, and attributes all women strive to possess (zphib1920.org).
Theme:
The Sapphire Standard reflects the strength, integrity, and brilliance associated with the sapphire itself – symbolizing wisdom, truth, and resilience. Through conversations rooted in Power, Poise, and Purpose, we aim to inspire meaningful dialogue around leadership, service, and community transformation. The event brings together civic leaders, professionals, community partners, and emerging changemakers for an evening of engagement, empowerment, and connection. Attendees will enjoy a curated program featuring: A distinguished leadership panel including influential voices from government, sports, business, and public service The Sapphire Soirée, an elegant networking reception Awards recognizing community excellence and service.
